Forbes spotlights Aquaria’s $112 million raise to accelerate air‑to‑water infrastructure

Forbes recently spotlighted Aquaria’s big win: a $112 million investment round led by Soma Capital, Ciri Ventures, and Umami Capital. This new funding builds on the $5 million we raised after our founders, Brian and Eric Sheng, were named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list. It’s a huge boost for our mission—and it means we can move faster in building residential water systems and upgrading our Hydropack technology.

Why does this matter for everyday families?

The water systems most of us rely on are getting older and more fragile, especially with droughts hitting harder every year. Aquaria’s systems pull clean drinking water straight from the air, giving neighborhoods a steady, local supply of water that doesn’t depend on failing city pipes. It can even cut household water bills by up to 60%—and it gets rid of the need for plastic water bottles altogether.

What’s next? This summer, we’re starting major installations in Texas and Arizona. We’re also investing in new research to help our systems make even more water.

Stay tuned—because we’re not just dreaming of a future where everyone has clean water. We’re building it, one community at a time.
