No, the Hydropixel is an all-in-one, self-contained atmospheric water generator water cooler with over 11 gallons of internal water storage. Regular filter changes and occasional cleaning are required. Water and air filter replacement is recommended every 6 months and takes less than 5 minutes to complete. Please refer to your user manual for detailed instructions.
Yes, the Hydropixel will automatically switch from water production mode to standby mode when the internal tanks are full.
The Hydropixel is plug-and-play out of the box! Simply plug your Hydropixel into a standard wall outlet, and the machine will automatically begin operating. After 24 hours, you’ll have fresh, clean drinking water made from the air ready to dispense.
The Hydropixel works best in a large room, with adequate open space (1 foot) on its back and right side for sufficient ventilation so that the machine is able to cycle enough air to produce water from the air.
