Aquaria Raised $112M to Help Bring Water From Air to More Homes

Forbes spotlights Aquaria’s $112 million raise to accelerate air‑to‑water infrastructure

Imagine getting clean drinking water straight from the air around you. That’s not science fiction—it’s what we do, and we just recently raised $112 million to bring it to more homes across America.

Why it matters

As droughts intensify and groundwater dries up, more communities are looking for secure, sustainable water sources. That’s where our Hydropack series comes in—plug-and-play atmospheric water generators (AWGs) that turn air into fresh water, no well or infrastructure needed.

With this new round of funding—$100 million in project debt from Upwell Water and $12 million in equity from bold investors like Taizo Son’s Mistletoe, Soma Capital, and even former House Majority Leader Dick Gephardt—we’re scaling up fast.

Our mission

Make sure families and communities don’t have to wait decades for safe water access. Our Hydropack systems use a high-efficiency heat exchange process to condense moisture from the air into clean, drinkable water. Depending on your needs:

  • Hydropack S produces up to 66 gallons/day—perfect for everyday home use.
  • Hydropack offers 132 gallons/day for larger households or small farms.
  • Hydropack X scales up to 264 gallons/day for community or multi-unit use.

All models are off-grid compatible and deliver water within 24 hours. No drilling, installed within days.

For us, this is more than just innovation. It’s about rethinking how we source something as essential as water. And we’re not the only ones working on it. Companies like Source and Watergen are also diving into the atmospheric water game. But the truth is, most people still don’t know this tech exists. If you care about where your water comes from —and where it’ll come from in the future— this is a space to watch.
