How does the weather effect its ability to generate water?
The relative humidity affects the performance of the system. Our systems work best in relative humidity of 25% or above. This means that – rather than running them in the super dry seasons (including winter conditions) or in extreme desert ecosystems – they work best during typical spring, summer, and fall conditions in the majority of US locations. For best results, we recommend pairing our system with a storage tank so you can harvest water in humid periods for use in dry periods.
Is the water safe for drinking?
Our machines use sub-micron filters and UV purification to deliver safe, clean drinking water. Our water exceeds EPA and WHO standards for drinking water quality.
What does it take to install one in my home?
- We recommend installing a concrete pad for the machine and the water storage tank. Pad size will depend on the unit purchased.
