FAQs

How do Aquaria the atmospheric water generators work?

Aquaria atmospheric water generators make water from air by cooling tremendous amounts of air down to its dew point, causing water to condense out as a liquid.

How much water can Aquaria atmospheric water generators produce?

Aquaria has atmospheric water generators come in units ranging from 24 GAL (90 L) per day to 264 GAL (1,000 L) per day rated water production. Actual water production will vary based on day-to-day weather conditions. During your consultation with an Aquaria product advisor, we will help you determine the right size atmospheric water generator system for your specific water needs.

Can Aquaria's atmospheric water generators operate in freezing temperatures?

Our units aren’t able to operate in temperatures below 50 F (10 C) as this is too cold for water generation to occur. If temperatures drop below this mark temporarily, the unit will turn off automatically and not be effected. However if you live in a region where temperatures would be below this temperature for an extended period of time, winterization will be required. Aquaria’s product specialist team would be happy to discuss this in greater detail.

Where is water made from the air stored?

All Aquaria atmospheric water generator products come with sizable water storage tanks internally. Some of our machines can be connected to larger water systems which include an external storage tank to safely store excess produced water. Please contact us directly for a consultation for your specific water needs for more details.

Is water from air safe to consume?

Aquaria’s atmospheric water generators come with advanced filtration systems that produce water that is not only safe to drink, but also exceeds the strictest global water standards, including standards set by the EPA and WHO, regardless of local air quality.

How often do filters need to be changed, and how do I change them?

Aquaria’s atmospheric water generators are designed to be extremely user-friendly to operate and maintain. We recommend changing air and water filters every 6-12 months, depending on local air quality and machine usage. Detailed operating and filter change instructions can be found in the user manual that comes with your atmospheric water generator.

Are there any government incentives or tax credits available for purchasing these units?

Incentives may be available depending on your location and local government programs. We recommend checking with your local authorities.
